Artists, authors and social science experts meet to talk, share and reflect on experiences and knowledge gained over the course of their work with adolescents.
GLOSSARIO is a series of four meetings curated by Stefano Laffi, a sociologist engaged in collaborative projects with young people, encouraging them to take the floor, together with the curator of FUORI!, Silvia Bottiroli. Voice, body, affection, public space, environment: starting from the keywords resonating in the workshops and the artworks of FUORI!, every meeting addresses a different theme. The meetings are designed for teachers, trainers, educators and professionals that work daily with teenagers in schools and the educational world. Their aim is to provide inspiration and tools at a time still marked by the unprecedented crisis initiated by the pandemic.
Dare forma, dare voce
A conversation between Stefano Laffi and Chiara Guidi
What can theatre, social research and schools do for today’s young people? In the first GLOSSARIO session, Stefano Laffi and Chiara Guidi reflect on how those growing up today can discover new things about themselves and the world, learning to use unexpected tools and new languages from theatre and sociology.
Corpi e spazi pubblici
A conversation between Annalisa Metta and Linda Di Pietro
What does it mean to experience the outside and public, free and shared spaces? How does the city make this possible or hard? In the second GLOSSARIO event, Annalisa Metta and Linda Di Pietro reflect on how architectural and artistic design can make public spaces more accessible for everyone.
Il mondo dei sentimenti e il dialogo interiore
A conversation between Fiorenza Menni and Lea Melandri
What are the big questions of today’s young people? Are they the same as always? Thanks to new devices, the stream of conversations between them is extremely dense. But what about internal dialogue? What does the thermometer mark when placed close to their hearts? Lea Melandri and Fiorenza Menni started listening from different perspectives. Then, they attempted to convey that whisper or that racket, trying to shape that universe.
La parola che rende visibili i corpi
A conversation between Chiara Bersani and Wissal Houbabi
This meeting is a conversation between choreographer, performer and author Chiara Bersani and Wissal Houbabi, oral poet, writer and activist. They will address issues related to the politics of the body, stigmatised and systemically oppressed by a white, ableist, patriarchal and hierarchical society. Starting from their respective positions and attempting to find intersectional alliances, they will try to find a precise name for terms that cross many discursive fields and do not always translate into concrete practices. How does art become a weapon for fighting and re-appropriating the self?
