Boys and girls commission a work of art for the city of Bologna. Inspired by the French project Nouveaux Commandataires, FUTURA is a path that bridges teenagers and public art, looking at the urban space in a new way. The group participates in a series of meetings guided by professionals from different disciplines, in the spaces of DumBO and around the city. Together, they discover how an artwork is created, starting from selecting the artist to whom the work will be entrusted, the design process and the commissioning. The commissioned artwork will be publicly presented at the end of the project in June 2023. The project is developed in collaboration with Baumhaus and Fondazione Innovazione Urbana.
