Corpi ri-creativi

Donatella Allegro

How do we see our bodies? How do we feel our body, on its own and within space? How does it change over time? How do we talk about it? What do we not want to say? The workshop Corpi ri-creativi seeks to offer small theatrical experiences through physical, writing and creative exercises, re-working texts and images. Donatella Allegro will guide a group of teenagers in activities aimed at fostering and strengthening their ability and desire to express themselves on themes related to the politics of the body, so crucial and yet often so difficult to address.

BIO

Donatella Allegro is an actress, author and educator from Bologna. She works as a speaker, director and teacher for national theatres and private companies. She collaborated as actress and director with Teatro di Roma, Teatro della Toscana, Permàr – Mario Perrotta, Cantieri Meticci and ERT Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione. Allegro scripted and directed performances and readings and participated in films, web series and short films. She also organises reading aloud and creative writing activities for non-professionals. She is active in feminist associations and the dissemination of historical knowledge, focusing on the theme of rights.
