Agnese Cornelio
How do you perceive familiar spaces? What figures populate them? How do they inhabit them? How do you narrate them? Through a series of practices and exercises of observation, active listening, recording and restaging of urban spaces, the workshop explores the territory of the Aldini Valeriani schools and their surroundings. The school area, the ARCI club, the park, the streets and the spaces of encounter and sociability are just some locations dense with potential situations that can be captured differently by each sense. The exploration of this territory takes place in different ways: through the body, through words and through the senses, trying to find stories, spaces and situations that are not immediately visible to the eyes and to daylight. We collect these scenes and their sound details with the technology available to us (smartphones, recorders, etc.) and then rework them into a podcast made of snippets of the sounds of the places we explored.
