Laura Pizzirani
Who are the villains? Dangerous, terrifying and cruel but also fascinating figures. Bolognese artist Laura Pizzirani guides young people on an exploration of the monstrous figures of mythology through texts, iconographies, songs, films and theatre performances. Their hybrid bodies, belonging to different genres and species, simultaneously frighten and attract us. But are we sure that they are really so terrible? What would they tell us if we talked to them and listened to their side of the story? Let’s try to be attracted instead of frightened!
BIO
Laura Pizzirani, actress and author, collaborated with theatre companies such as Teatrino Clandestino, Bluemotion, Ateliersi, Motus, Fanny&Alexander, Tessy Bear Company and with visual artists including Nico Vascellari, Clemens von Wedemeyer and Maya Schweizer. She worked in film and television, participates in the activities of Bottega Finzioni and carries on her research as an author in the field of theatre and the audiovisual.
